I am an anti-diet registered dietitian who utilizes a Health At Every Size (HAES) framework, and incorporates elements of social justice and intuitive eating into my practice. I treat people of all sizes, gender identities, abilities, races, ethnicities, and religions, and I employ curiosity within myself while encouraging my clients to share their lived experiences to provide high quality care.

I bring extensive knowledge of mental health care into my practice. I have worked with children, adolescents, and young adults to address nutritional concerns that often accompany diagnoses of Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Neurodivergence, particularly Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Additionally, I enjoy working with aging populations on matters of nutrition and body acceptance throughout one’s lifespan.

I am also a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS) designated by the International Association for Eating Disorders Professionals (IAEDP), and I am trained in Family Based Therapy (FBT) for Eating Disorders. I have previously worked at the residential, PHP, and IOP levels of care treating adolescent and adult patients with diagnoses of Anorexia Nervosa (AN), Severe and Enduring Anorexia Nervosa (SE-AN), Bulimia Nervosa (BN), Binge Eating Disorder (BED), Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), Other Specified Feeding and Eating Disorder (OSFED), and Unspecified Feeding and Eating Disorder (UFED). I utilize sensitivity, compassion, and principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) in nutrition sessions to help my clients reach their goals.

I obtained my undergraduate degree in Psychology from University of Redlands, where I received a well-rounded liberal arts education in addition to following a pre-med track. I obtained my Master’s of Science degree in Nutritional Science from San Jose State University and completed my dietetic internship rotations at Kaiser Santa Clara Medical Center and Santa Clara Unified School District. Prior to my dietetics career I worked as a lifeguard, swim coach, and fitness instructor. Currently I reside in San Diego, California.

I am a proud ally. Through continuing education and curiosity of individual experiences, I continuously aim to improve my work to better support my 2SLGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients.
